Level 1: Intro series
A dynamic, non-traditional workout session utilizing a weighted rubber ball + principles of pendular motion and release to enliven and bring you into your body. Set against a backdrop of hypnotic minimalist music, the exercises…
feel good and are fun to do;
encourage your limbs to swing freely, increasing mobility and range of motion;
strengthen the core as a responsive anchor for full-body movement;
promote healthy, resilient connective tissue;
and engender a feeling of whole-body connectedness.
Sequences progress and build upon one another in a 5-week journey towards greater embodiment and freedom of movement.
Level 1 classes meet at noon on Tuesdays, and 8am on Thursdays. No class on April 19 & 21.
Level 2
A step up in intensity and challenge.
At the 2nd Level we go into a deeper exploration of the 4 core principles of Dynamic Flow:
Strength
Core
Release
Balance
We spend a week (2 classes) focusing on each one of these principles, while still getting a full-body workout, and then bring them all together in the 5th week.
Completion of the Level 1 Intro series is recommended, but not a requisite for Level 2.
Level 2 classes meet at 8am on Tuesdays, and noon on Thursdays. No class on April 19 & 21.

The weighted rubber ball can be obtained from me personally if you are local, or ordered online from Perform Better. For most people I would recommend the 3.3 lb ball; if you’re in good shape and working out on a regular basis you could go with the 4.4 lb ball. On the other hand, if you haven’t been moving much, and/or have shoulder or wrist issues, I’d go for the 2.2 lb ball. You can always upgrade.
