Personalized Movement Training
1-on-1 Training
Personalized physical training sessions focused on your needs and goals, addressing both where you are in the present moment and where you want to be.
Whether you are recovering from an injury or surgery and need to re-gain strength and mobility, want to improve your athletic performance, or simply want to feel better, stronger, and more resilient in your body, Jim can help you move forward in your pursuit of physical well-being.
“My goal is to get you feeling better in your body, increase your range of motion, balance and tune your neuromuscular & myofascial systems, engage your curiosity, help you build strength and endurance for the things you like to do, and help you feel more at ease, capable and confident in your body. We rarely do the same thing twice, and the session unfolds from one mo(ve)ment to the next.”

2-on-1 Training
Pioneering a new form of collaborative training, Jim has teamed up with Cambridge-based physical therapist Maria Noetzel to provide clients with particularly challenging physical issues the opportunity to work with a PT and trainer simultaneously.
Maria brings her clinical knowledge and understanding of biomechanics and medical conditions that impact movement, along with her own athletic training, to bear on nagging or persistent physical issues that may be impeding a client’s progress.
Working together, Jim and Maria are able to pinpoint problematic areas/issues in the body, offer immediate, real-time intervention, and develop an on-going movement/exercise program for addressing and alleviating the problem.
Clients typically require only 1-2 collaborative sessions, followed by regular weekly training sessions. These sessions are usually conducted in the studio with Maria on Zoom.
Sessions are 60-90 minutes long.
